GeezApps ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information across all our applications.

Information We Collect

  • We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) unless required for specific app functionality.
  • Contact information is collected only when you reach out to us for support and is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Where cloud sync is available, data is stored locally on your device first and synced only with your consent.

Data Security

  • All data transmitted to or from our services is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • We follow industry best practices to protect your information.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

For apps designed for children (such as Kids Tigrigna), we comply with COPPA regulations. These apps do not collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-Party Services

Some of our apps may use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (authentication, crash reporting, cloud storage)
  • Google Services (analytics, where applicable)
  • Google AdMob (in-app advertising, where used — see individual app sections for details)

Kids' apps do not use third-party tracking services.

MediFlash — App-Specific Privacy

MediFlash is a medical exam preparation flashcard app for USMLE, NCLEX, Ethiopian MLE, PLAB, and AMC examinations.

Data We Collect

  • Account Info: Email address, display name, profile photo (optional), and user ID via Firebase Authentication
  • Study Data: Flashcard progress, session duration, spaced repetition data, daily streaks — stored locally and synced to the cloud
  • Diagnostic Data: Anonymous crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics

Permissions

  • Notifications: Optional, for study reminders (local and push)
  • Internet Access: Required for authentication and cloud sync

Data Storage & Deletion

Zero Data Collection

Agenda To Do does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. All data is stored 100% locally on your device using the Isar database.

  • No cloud sync, no backend servers, no internet required

Permissions

  • Calendar Access: Read-only, to display your events locally
  • Photo Library: For file import/export operations only
  • Notifications: Local only, for task reminders

Your Control

You can export your data as JSON at any time. Deleting the app removes all data completely.

FidelBoard Keyboard — App-Specific Privacy

FidelBoard is a Ge'ez/Ethiopic keyboard for iOS and Android that supports Amharic, Tigrinya, and Ge'ez input via phonetic transliteration and a Fidel character grid.

The Keyboard Itself: Zero Data Collection

The keyboard you type with is fully offline. It:

  • Does not collect any text you type
  • Does not request Open Access / Full Access — your keystrokes never leave your device
  • Does not connect to the internet
  • Does not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry
  • Does not contain advertising

All text processing — transliteration, character selection, and suggestions — happens entirely on your device, inside the keyboard extension, which runs without network access. No keystrokes, words, or text content are ever transmitted anywhere, from the keyboard or the app.

Advertising in the FidelBoard App

The FidelBoard app (separate from the keyboard itself) shows ads served by Google AdMob to support free development. Ads appear only in the app's own screens — never inside the keyboard, and never while you're typing. To serve ads, Google's SDK collects a device advertising identifier, coarse IP-derived location, and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view duration). This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy, not by us, and is not linked to any account — FidelBoard has no user accounts. You can opt out of ad tracking in your device's system settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).

FidelBoard Pro removes all ads from the app. A 24-hour ad-free unlock is available for free by watching a single rewarded ad; a permanent one-time purchase is planned but not yet available for sale.

Local Storage

FidelBoard stores your keyboard preferences (language, theme, key size), your on-device learned-word list, and your Pro unlock status locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.

Crash Reports

If the keyboard encounters an error, a crash report is saved locally on your device. You can view and delete it from the FidelBoard app. Crash reports are never sent automatically.

Children's Privacy

FidelBoard does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Ads are not personalized for users identified as under the age of consent.

Other GeezApps Products

All other GeezApps products (Kids Tigrigna, Go Tigray, Geez Calendar, Bible Ethiopian, Amharic Bible, Countdown Reminder, Currency Converter, Road Signs apps) follow the same core privacy principles:

  • No unnecessary data collection
  • Local-first storage
  • No data sharing with third parties
  • User control over all personal data
